Clean Up

Clean UP is about rubbish in London's street.

There are two layers, top I use Thermochromic ink that people remove rubbish by hand, underneath image is London street continuing.

Rubbish Man

The idea came from photographer Gregg Segal’s photo 7 Days of Garbage series. He took photographs of families recording how much rubbish they generated in a week. His project inspired me because the theme is people being comfortable with living with rubbish. As a result, I made a collage of rubbish man out of photographs that I had taken in London.

This is a collaborative project about culture in London.

I used henna to express Whitechapel’s culture.

Rubbish Overflow

Rubbish Overflow is regarding people dumping rubbish on the street, which looks into people’s behaviour with rubbish. 

The output of the project is a number of animated gifs that combine as an animation.
