My Final project was about Endangered Animals , I have always had ingrained interested in Nature and Living things, especially in animals. The concept of evolution in habit, shape, size, pattern and colour of animals over time was very interesting to me.

 

My project aims to create a pattern that was inspired by an animal that was on the endangered animals list. From the various colourful patterns that butterfly has, I created patterns of a selected species and combined them harmoniously with the natural appearance of butterflies. And not only delved in the the pattern but also the message of the project to be conveyed through the butterfly. Over the ages, butterflies have become potent symbols of peace, rebirth and hope. The ancient Egyptians, Greeks, and Chinese considered butterflies a sign of love, joy, and spiritual transcendence. 

 

These butterflies have unique and splendid colouring patterns on their fragile wings. The hope for survival of the highly endangered animals depends on the outcome of the delicate topic of how to consider, care, and protect them. It is pertinent to note that it depends on us to give their soul a chance to rebirth or tear them apart to make their existence as ephemeral and finally extinct.
